Location: At Ban Thap Kaek, about 28 km from Krabi Town.
How to go: From Krabi, use Highway 4034 of 15 km and turn right at Ban Nong Tha Le to Ban Muang Beach at 8 km. Then turn right for 5 km to Thap Kaek Beach.
Attractions: Hightlights of the beach is its cleanness and quietness. From Thap Kaek Beach can clearly see the Forest Island (Pa Koh) or Mu Koh Hong due to the location very close to Koh Hong. It is also one of Krabis most beautiful sunset viewpoint. The beach length is about one km, the curved beach with some rocks and shady pine trees. Swimming can be done during high tide and the beach will be very wide and dry like Khlong Haeng Beach at Noppharat Thara National Park, a far distance to walk to the sea. Thap Kaek Beach is rested in the middle of Khao Ngon Nak which has the mineral hot spring called Sa Deu Phyanak. Whenever anyone claps his hands near the area, the water will gush out which is the strange experience to touch.
